Description
I have never seen water in Dry Lake, it happens, but not often. Coming from a wet winter it was a beautiful sight. Dry Lake is on Harris Springs Road in Northern California, near Bartle.
This is a long exposure photograph making the clouds soft and the water smooth and capturing the steam coming of the surface, a beautiful serene sight. Reflections on the water and the evening colors were gorgeous.

Gorgeous image Marnie! Well composed and excellent exposure control. I like to fish and photograph in early morning when the day is new. I can "feel" the quietness of your photo. Slight time exposure adds to this softly, subdued tranquility.
