Description
Everyone that grew up in Siskiyou County, Northern California, knows where North Shore is, our favorite swimming hole was just up the road. This is Wagon Creek Bridge and the rope swing is down below.
The Wagon Creek Bridge aside from being beautiful, shortens the Lake Siskiyou's Trail and provides good views of the lake and Mt. Shasta. Along the trail are views of woodlands, meadows and the lake with Mt. Shasta and surrounding mountains in the background. Great place to swim on hot summer days.
Lake Siskiyou is a reservoir formed by Box Canyon Dam on the Sacramento River, in far northern California, near the town of Mount Shasta, California. It is the site of local recreation, as well as being used for watershed protection and flood control.
