The old Coast Guard Pier in Winchester Bay, Oregon. Winchester Bay is in Douglas County, Oregon, United States. Some of the most beautiful country in the world is along the Oregon Coast.
Even though it appears calm and quiet, it was very stormy here, if you look at my other pictures of the pier you will see what I mean. I have been playing with fine art long exposure photography techniques and having a great deal of fun. Capturing long periods of time in a single exposure and creating different moods is fascinating.
I'm an artist & photographer from Northern California, I grew up in the beauty of the Country but never really realized it and appreciated it until I started capturing it through the lens. My favorite type of photography is the long exposure photography, black and white, light trails and light painting. Having an image in my head and figuring out how to make it happen. I had no idea the possibilities of photography until I took it up a few years back, it's limitless. Learning and creating is a passion and an addiction.
