Just before sunset at the Patchett Ranch in San Luis Obispo, the lighting is magical at this time of the day. This is along the driveway at my in-laws, the view is almost as wonderful as they are.
This little shed covered in memorabilia with treasures inside and out, the American flag along the road. Farming and ranching collectibles full of history. I am fascinated and in awe, every time I visit I find more or see it in a different light. One of my favorite places on earth.
Vintage plows, saws, bottles, signs, license plates, misc. equipment, wire, wheels, pots, saddle cinch, and many more antiques make an interesting foreground for the beauty behind. The mountain ranges being lit up by the sun, the clouds painting the sky, glorious.
I'm an artist & photographer from Northern California, I grew up in the beauty of the Country but never really realized it and appreciated it until I started capturing it through the lens. My favorite type of photography is the long exposure photography, black and white, light trails and light painting. Having an image in my head and figuring out how to make it happen. I had no idea the possibilities of photography until I took it up a few years back, it's limitless. Learning and creating is a passion and an addiction.
