Sleep in a Caboose, eat on a train, camp in the trees at the foot of the Castle Crags. Railroad Park Resort is a unique railroad themed resort located in one of the most scenic places in Northern California. The lodging consists of 23 renovated cabooses with all the comforts of home and 4 historic cabins. The restaurant is built from 9 historic rail cars put together in a museum like manner. Serving breakfast and dinner to lodging guests, travelers and locals alike. There is also a campground serving both RVers and Tent campers.
Located near Castle Crags State Park there is plenty to do and see. This shot was taken in the morning, not a great sunrise but the moon made it great. This little stream flows right through the park and you can purchase rubber ducks in the gift shop to have races....
