Description
Sleep in a Caboose, Eat on a train, Camp in the trees at the foot of the Castle Crags. Railroad Park Resort is a unique railroad themed resort located in one of the most scenic places in Northern California. The lodging consists of 23 renovated cabooses with all the comforts of home and 4 historic cabins. The restaurant is built from 9 historic rail cars put together in a museum like manner. Serving breakfast and dinner to lodging guests, travelers and locals alike. There is also a campground serving both RVers and Tent campers. When we were there he restaurant was only serving dinner due to staffing issues related to Covid. But dinner was AWESOME!
Using the old snow plow to frame this shot, with a caboose and a little snow on the Crags is the perfect composition.
