Sleep in a Caboose, eat on a train, camp in the trees at the foot of the Castle Crags. Railroad Park Resort is a unique railroad themed resort located in one of the most scenic places in Northern California. The lodging consists of 23 renovated cabooses with all the comforts of home and 4 historic cabins. The restaurant is built from 9 historic rail cars put together in a museum like manner. Serving breakfast and dinner to lodging guests, travelers and locals alike. There is also a campground serving both RVers and Tent campers.
Located near Castle Crags State Park there is plenty to do and see.

A train-loVers' paradise!! Reminds me slightly of a train museum I visited a few decdaes past. Located within a "small" building in Sacramento, it contains real fullsize trains on several floors!! You might like that! Thanks again for your visit!!
